Packed For Norway Fishing Report
Norway Fishing Report I cannot believe the Sea fishing season in Northern Norway is already upon us and is set to be a great year for all species. With Norway Fishing Report like what we are receiving from our Camp in Soroya, I am sure you may find your self booking that trip to Norway after all.
If you have not yet heard or read anything about the Island of Soroya in Northern most Norway, then let me tell you a little about it. It is situated at the very tip of Norway surrounded by the Barents Sea making it very rich in all aquatic life.
The Cod that spend most of their lives in the Barents Sea descend upon this Island every year from March to April to Spawn and then feed up. These Cod are not your normal sized Cod, they are full of spawn and reach their maximum sizes. This yearly ritual is great for the angler as they come very close to this Island and are normally found around about 1 – 3 miles out from the Island and turn up in shoals of thousands, so it really is the place to go to if you are a hard and fast Cod Angler.
You may have heard of the huge Cod caught there this week, well if you have not yet heard let me tell you. Norway Fishing Report on Tuesday 18th March a 86lb Cod caught from our camp in Soroya to a very lucky angler
