First Day in Soroya Norway Fishing Report

First Day in Soroya Norway Fishing Report

Norway Fishing Report the boys have arrived in Soroya North Norway, it was a rough old ferry crossing, but that was nothing compared to the first days fishing. To say that everyone was brimming with excitement is an understatement for on arrival that day a monster cod had been caught. Lifted on the scales the fish went an incredible 41.4-kilo’s, if that doesn’t get you excited you need to check you still have a pulse. We will cover this huge fish in another Norway Fishing Report

In the first day of this Norway Fishing Report Waking in the morning Paul and the customers looked out of the window to be greeted with lumpy sea’s, however the guides gave the all clear for everyone to get ready and go out to fish. It was extremely difficult conditions that consisted of rough sea’s rain, hail, snow and basically anything that the elements could throw at them. For some customers the rough sea was too much, meaning they spent as much time laying in the bottom of the boat feeling ill, only to rise for some good old ground baiting over the side. However once everyone managed to get their sea legs and settled down to some fishing the rods came out, the big bobs dropped over the side and bang the fishing began. The rough conditions have no effect on the fish, just anglers as you will see in the rest of this Norway Fishing Report

The weather did mean that all the boats could not reach the main marks to hunt the monster cod; however everyone was kept very busy with plenty of cod up to the 18-kilo range. Even though the first days conditions were rough all the customers returned back to the warm cabins with smiles from ear to ear. Even a rough day in Norway knocks the socks off a good day in the UK. In fact for all the customers on their first ever visit to Norway this turned out to be the best days fishing they had ever experienced and made for a great start to our Norway Fishing Report
