First Guided Trips At Nappstraumen Norway

As more and more of our Norway destination welcomes foreign guests we are receiving some great reports. This one is from Nordic Sea Angling Guide, Calle, as he finally gets to guide some visitors and by the looks of it, they had some great experiences.

Within the next couple of weeks, we should start to see some travel between the UK and Norway so let’s hope we get some more reports so we can keep you all up to speed with what’s happening in the fish-filled waters of Norway.

Nappstraumen Fishing Report

Then we start our guided fishing tours here in Nappstraumen. The week that has passed, the weather has been a bit windy for the first few days but now the weather has been on our side and the fishing too. The fish have been biting like never before and it was bent rods and a big smiles on our guests who have been out on the sea.

One of the fishing trips was a 4-hour day trip that our guide Calle was out with a young family and tested some fishing spots, and what a joy we got to experience when we found some great cod and Coalfish that came up all the time with a top fish of almost 14 kg which was a Cod. Many of them found fish between 5 & 6 kg. We had an absolutely amazing experience with great weather. Earlier in the week, we had really tough weather, it was a bit limited where we could fish but on those days and the places we chose to test and fish on, the wins dominated with many fine fish between 3 to 5 kg.

Next week we look forward to good weather and even better fishing. So feel free to contact us if you want a wonderful experience that is hard to forget. I “Calle” now look forward to getting more experienced fishermen next week.

Thanks Calle, sounds like they got a break in the weather and made the most out of it. Now that things are looking positive for travel we do have a few weeks available if you can get away at the last moment as the fishing this year is unbelievable. Call our office on 01603 407596 and we can let you know destinations that have some last-minute availability.

If you can not get away this year then why not get something in place for either 2021 or 2022 but you will have to be quick as places are filling fast. If you have any questions about any of our Norway sea fishing destinations then you can either call me on the above number or email me info@sportquestholidays.com

Tight lines, Paul
