FISHING IN MOZAMBIQUE
The fishing holidays are completely flexible with regards to offshore fishing or inshore fishing Mozambique. The offshore fishing is onboard a game fishing boat with all fishing equipment supplied. Normally trolling for Black and Blue Marlin with lots of Sailfish. The big game fishing holidays in Mozambique attracts many anglers each year to such areas as Bazaruto Archipelago, Inhaca, Nacala, Pemba and the Quirimbas Islands to name the most famous fishing spots. The Indian Ocean offers superb offshore fishing. The rock or surf fishing on offer is more aimed at the lure fishing angler and you will be casting for GT’s and many other species that patrol the shoreline.
WHAT FISHING TACKLE DO I NEED FOR MOZAMBIQUE
When you are fishing offshore in Mozambique all the trolling equipment is supplied on our big game boats. These will include stand-up fishing rods and lighter rods for trolling big game fishing. When fishing from the beach you will need heavy spinning rods with good quality fixed spools such as Shimano Stella’s or Penn Slammers. A good quality braid for casting lures all day in PE80 will be preferred. A good selection of surface lures will be required which can be obtained once you have booked your Mozambique fishing holiday.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN MOZAMBIQUE
The climate is tropical and warm with a dry, cooler season from May until October and a wet, hot season from November until April. The Dry season corresponds with winter and the Wet season with summer. We strongly recommend wearing the correct clothing to keep you dry and more importantly safe from the harmful rays of the sun.
