Chile is a large country that stretches down the western edge of South America, this vast area is bordered on one side by the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean and by Argentina on the other. This country has a very wide and diverse landscape with some more famous areas being the Andes and the Chilean Coast range mountains. This landscape creates some of the purest waters you will find which makes for an amazing environment for the species of fish that live here to thrive.

One of the favoured areas to fish in Chile is the Patagonian areas. These Patagonian waters offer some of the most idyllic fly fishing for Brown Trout. You will either be wading hidden back streams or rafting down some of the larger rivers, presenting dry flies and watching huge Brown Trout sip them under. The river has a multitude of different types of water and styles of fishing. One minute your guide will be rowing you down vast stretches where you will fish a streamer to overhanging trees to tempt big Browns from their hiding places and the next minute, you will be fishing from the bank having stalked a wary pod of Rainbows as they sip tiny dry flies from the surface.
