Halibut Norway Fishing Report Is Addictive
Norway Fishing Report If you have ever fancied targeting the Mighty Halibut in Northern Norway, now is your chance. It is peak month right now and with Norway Fishing Report coming thick and fast from our camps in Norway it would be silly not to go. The two camps that really are showing the results in these Norway Fishing Report are Lofoten and the famous Havoysund, which is world known for its sheer numbers of Halibut caught weekly by most people who visit.
I have been a guide to Norway now for several years and these two camps still blow me away with their Norway Fishing Report. I have just been sent a video of a customer landing a 191cm Halibut (around the 200lb mark) that has made me want to be there (hopefully we will have this online shortly)
The good thing about these two camps are that you receive a free days guiding (subject to availability) on your first fishing day. They will jump on your boat for the day and show you how to use the boats and some red-hot fishing marks. Having this service is sometimes invaluable and the advice you will get might be the difference in you hooking a fish of a lifetime and actually landing it. You will see in other Norway Fishing Report the guides
Our camp in Havoysund is where I am taking a group next week to target those hard fighting Halibut and hopefully will boat a few very large Halibut. The Plaice fishing is also very good with fish approaching their maximum sizes up to 4kg… Another bonus with this camp is the fact that you get a free continental breakfast in the restaurant that is on site and you can even have your evening meals cooked for you but you still have the option of going self catering and you will see in previous Norway Fishing Report some pictures of the breakfast
So until I return from my group trip to Havoysund with my Norway Fishing Report, check some of the pictures in the tour and hopefully they may well whet your appetite and if you have any questions about these camps or any others we do please feel free to contact us on 01603 407596 and we can put a trip together for you as a single angler or even if you have some fishing buddies, all size groups accommodated
