Kalum River Lodge BC Fishing On Fire
Kalum River Lodge British Columbia fishing is on fire and our summer season is well under way and our guests are having some action packed fishing days. August is a great time to be fishing the Skeena, with Coho, Sockeye, Chum and Pink salmon migrating up the river, as well as Steelhead (sea-going Rainbow Trout). The Skeena River has the world’s largest run of wild Steelhead and holds the world record (a fish of just over 36lb). These fish are incredible to catch, as they are hard fighting, high stamina fish.
Many of our guests are trying spey fishing for the first time. Our experienced guides work with our guests to fine tune their fishing to vastly improve their catch rates. As you can see from the photos, our guests have been into a lot of fish!
If you ever wanted to try some unbelievable Steelhead and Salmon fishing why not come join me on one of our hosted weeks each year. Rods are limited so first come first served.
