August Fishing Report Kalum River Lodge
August has been a month of “greats” here at Kalum River Lodge – great weather, great fishing and great people.
Our anglers have been out on the Skeena River which is one of the world’s premier fly fishing destinations. From first-time fly anglers to seasoned professionals the Skeena River fishery has something for everyone. With the large numbers of fish migrating up the Skeena, our anglers caught several species of salmon as well as Steelhead in a day. With record sized fish moving up the rivers any cast could be that fish of a lifetime and for many of our anglers this was the case.
The salmon and Steelhead are straight from the ocean and anglers are always impressed at the power and stamina of these chrome fish.
Many of our long time guests join us every August and from the photos below you can see why.
Fly fishing throughout the summer season is an action packed time – why not join us next year?
