Fishing Report Norway well its the first day of our 2012 group trip, and we’re heading out to the island of Soroya in pursuit of giant Cod, well thats the plan! After a very easy, incident free journey, and a good fried breakfast later! We arrived at Gatwick Airport about 12.00. After a couple of phone calls, we had met up with all the customers, checked in and were enjoying a quick beer in the resident Weatherspoons. The flight departed on time and everything ran smoothly, we landed at Oslo around 5.15 and after a short taxi drive we arrived at our home for the first night, the airports Best Western Hotel. This then gave me a chance to start this Fishing Report Norway
Our destination Soroya is many miles up north and is a total of two flights, a ferry crossing and a mini bus journey away, so as the flights fall its a two day excursion to get there and a whole day to get home! So thats why we have to overnight tonight! So currently at the moment I’m writing this blog from the lobby of the hotel waiting for my bacon cheese burger to cook! I think it will be an early night tonight, as its far too expensive to stay up drinking! And I think we’re all just keen to get there and get on with the fishing!
Anyway its a short blog to start, but hopefully in the next couple of days it will be action packed and most importantly fish filled!
