Fish Packed Big Game Mexico Report

We have been receiving great reports from our resort in Mexico, Palma De Cortez. None of us in the office are too jealous!!!! What an amazing year so far they have been experiencing lets hope it carries on. Head fishing guide has sent us a little round up of the action so far this month

FISHING REPORT:

Hola Amigos, here is the on-the-water report for this week. Conditions got a bit snotty early in the week as we saw winds to 15mph for Monday and Tuesday and fish counts subsequently dropped with most boats only landing a few tuna per day. Things have laid down substantially as warm weather and greasy calm seas have returned to the East Cape. The fishing has consisted of tuna on the dolphin/porpoise pods 25-40 miles offshore…yeah, long runs. Some striped marlin were landed and released on pitched baits but still no jig strikes. The inshore action continues to impress with big roosters and a variety of pargo, dorado and even some tuna. Highlights include a 72LB wahoo and a 465LB blue marlin caught on the inside. Current conditions, HOT and calm with clean blue water from the Lighthouse to Cerralvo, just like we like it.

The next couple of months August/September are normally some of the best of the whole year and we still have some open spots if any of you are interested. To enquire about what we can offer you, you can either call us on 01603 407596 or CLICK HERE to view the details
