Brazil Peacock Bass Fishing and with the Peacock Bass fishing season in Brazil now in full flow, we are receiving some brilliant reports. A group of our clients have just returned from this fantastic fishery with great praise and some very interesting fishing stories. I think in one single week our clients had 773 Peacock Bass with 30 of them being between 10 and 16lb’s… As you can see from the below Guide report, it has to be the one and only place for the mighty Peacock Bass in the World:
Weather conditions have been very good in all our private fisheries throughout the weekend. Although we had some rain at one of our fisheries, the results were good. Weather forecast looks promising for the rest of the week. Please check graphs below. All camp hosts report that fisheries are presenting good fishing conditions at this moment.
Itapará river Fly-in Floating cabins had excellent fishing conditions. Anglers landed 395 peacocks with 42 above the 10lbs mark and the largest weighing 15lbs. Water levels are low, making it perfect for fishing
Lower Xeruini private fishery anglers started the week with a 224 peacocks score, 16 of them over the 10lbs mark and the 2 largest weighed 20lbs. Even though it rained, water levels dropped 2 inches.
The upper Xeruini group had very little rain this weekend, they started the week with an 256 landed peacocks mark with the largest one weighing 13 lbs.. Water levels have dropped 2” in the last 2 days.
The Upper Jufaris anglers fishing at this private fishery landed 401 peacocks with the largest one weighing 15lbs. excellent weather conditions and with low water levels.
The lower Itapara private fishery had an excellent weekend, they landed a total of 773 peacocks with 30 above the 10lb mark, the largest was 15 lbs. Water levels are excellent
