The latest report from our guides at Rio Marie Lodge is in, and it looks like another fantastic week at the amazonian paradise, with over 500 Peacock Bass landed!
Conditions
Weather: We had sunny days during the whole week
Temperatures: Between 25 and 42ºC
River Conditions: Marié river is dropping really FAST.
Fishing Conditions: We started the week at the lower section of the Marié and soon noticed that fishing was improving. The water dropped fast and fish became very active. And as we went upstream during the week, we were surprised how the river conditions were spectacular. We found a LOT of aggressive fish feeding with some amazing trophies landed!

Highlight of the Week: The Marié River is an incredible place; after some challenging weeks with high water, we were surprised how quickly the water dropped. We had many trophies and lifetime stories for all anglers this week. One of the most amazing moments of the week was a prize to Rogério and his son Bruno who managed to catch two 20lb+ fish together alongside a sandbar! And one of those fish was 90cm in length! Congratulations, Rogério and Bruno!
