Fishing Report Norway A quick update sent to us from Head Guide at our camp in North Norway, Lofoten and by the looks of this Fishing Report Norway it’s been an excellent month and a superb way to finish the year off.
People tend not to travel to Norway too much in September and we cannot work out why as it is a very productive time of the year, the weather is still very good and more importantly the fish are still feeding very hard. With Halibut coming in to very shallow waters for spawning, this month can be your best bet for a lot of Halibut. On the other hand, if cod float your boat then this type of fishing can also be very productive when you choose the correct location and this camp in Lofoten is perfect for all types of species. You have the open ocean on one side and nice flat fjords on the other, so one can normally find a sheltered area if the wind starts to blow.
The guides at this camp send us some superb Fishing Report Norway and will always help you decide what the best aim of attack will be on any given day and their advice is always worth listening to as they spend 9 months a year fishing and guiding the waters you are targeting. All the best fishing marks are pre programmed in to the chart plotter so all you have to do is ask the guides where they recommend you fishing then find it on the plotter and off you go
Take a look at some of the fish that have been caught from this excellent camp this month and if you fancy trying your luck with a certain species, this camp has everything. All you have to do is give us a call on 01603 407596 tell us what you would like to target and we can recommend the best time of year to target them. We will help you every step of the way and all you will have to worry about is getting to the Airport, after this you will be in our very capable hands.
