The Big Cats Feeding Spain Fishing Report

Spain Fishing Report brings you a quick update from our Guides in Spain. They are having a fantastic month already with lots of 100lb + Catfish and even carp to 54lb…..

This is a very busy month for the guys in Spain as its when the smaller cats don’t tend to feed as much giving the bigger cats a chance to be caught. We have had customers there every week so far this month with everyone coming home with great stories and fond memories and new friendships Spain Fishing Report

The month started off very well with a group of four guys, Darren, Dave Mark and Rik who were determined to catch as money as possible. They started off with a few small cats to 90lb until the second morning of fishing when one of the rods screamed off with a very aggressive Cat hanging on the other end. Once the fight was over and the huge Cat was banked they decided to weigh this one!! It went 174lbs…. and that’s how it started. I wont go in to too much detail but I will let the figures speak for them selves:

Mark had 16 cats 9 over 100lb and the biggest 174lbs Dave and Darren were not far behind with many cats to 167lbs. They also managed 7 Carp between them with to of them over 40lbs

Another group the following week fancied targeting just the Carp with great success. They had too many to count but the more impressive thing was the outstanding size average. They didn’t land any Carp under 30lbs and they went as high as 54lbs which you will see below and agree that this was a huge fish.

They also managed a 200lb Cat on their carp rods!! Which took them nearly 3hours to land, boy I bet the lads arm was killing him.

All in all the start of September has been a brilliant month and is becoming fully booked for 2013. This destination is one of the best outfits in Spain and they also have the very best of Guides they seem to be very switched on to when and where the cats feed.
