The First Report Of The Season From Kalum River Lodge and Its the start of the new season at the Kalum River Lodge and Our first few guests arrived a few days ago. We’ve just recieved a little report from lodge owner Andrew Rushton, and already it looks like they are having a good time…
Kalum River Lodge’s spring season is now well underway and the guests have been enjoying some good Steelhead fishing. This time of year is great for Steelhead, Char and some early Chinook (King) salmon. Here are a couple of photos of a few of the Steelhead our guests have been catching.
We are looking forward to our Chinook season from June to early August when the largest Chinook are in the Skeena River. The Skeena has produced two world record Chinook weighing 96lb and 99lb. Through August we have all five species of salmon and Steelhead in the river, so its a great time for a lot of action!!
