Norway Fishing Report With only just less than two weeks to my Hosted trip to Soroya, things are starting to come together nicely. I have just received my last parcel of tackle (I am sure I do not really need this much stuff) and my reels have just been loaded up with some brand new Daiwa Accudepth Tournament Braid, which is a must for this destination.
The camp opened up their doors about two weeks ago and the Norway Fishing Report and pictures are coming in thick and fast with some very impressive results, fish up to 34kilo’s (74.8lb’s) reported.
Soroya, if you haven’t yet heard anything about, is located at the tip of Northern Norway and is and Island which has access to the Barents Sea. The Cod we catch there are migratory Cod, locally called Skrei. These Cod come in from the Barents Sea and surround this Island making for some brilliant sport. Last year in our Norway Fishing Report the biggest ever Cod was caught on rod and reel and weighed 103lb…..
This migration only lasts around 5 weeks of the year and we have managed to secure a two-week slot for this year, 2015 and 2016 right in the middle of this small window. The camp is always sold out for this period and that is why we have to reserve some dates so far in advance
Now, if you are interested in joining me on this trip please call us as soon as possible as we have limited spaces for 2015 and we even have people booked for 2016. I will list below the dates that are available and if you would like to come with me then please give me a call directly on 01603 407596. Just read back through our Norway Fishing Report of the hosted trips and you will be dining to come.
I will be posting Norway Fishing Report up from my trip when I am over there, so keep an eye out and I am sure you will be very tempted
So until my next Norway Fishing Report tight lines
