Speed Jigging Deep
It’s good to be back on land after a week of some great fishing here in the Andaman Islands! Our fishing week had good tides but some average current which made it ideal for us to concentrate on the vast jigging opportunities the area provides. It was a good call and we were well rewarded.
We jigged depths of 40 to 120 meters with jig weights ranging from 60 to 300 grams depending on the spot, depth and current. Most fish were caught speed jigging however we found spots that have immense potential for slow fall and slow pitch. We’ll save those marks for a dedicated week of slow jigging and we’re sure the results will be great.
With conditions ideal for the next few weeks we’re looking forward to getting out again to try and better our catch.
