Europe is the worlds second-smallest continent, covering about 10,180,000 square kilometres or 2 percent of the earth’s surface. The climate is governed by the prevailing westerly winds and influenced by the Gulfstream, and it’s lots milder compared to other areas of the same latitude. Its landscape is hugely varied and changes dramatically, even over small regions. It has a higher coast to landmass ratio than any other continent or subcontinent and has maritime borders with the Arctic Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean, Black, and Caspian Seas.
With a coastline that runs for over 68,000 kilometres, more extensive than that of the USA and Russia, it’s no surprise that Europe offers some fantastic, varied saltwater fishing opportunities. From the big Cod and Halibut off the coast of Iceland and Norway to the tremendous Big Game fishing in the Atlantic from the Canary Islands and Madeira, for the Marlin, Billfish and Dorado.
However, it’s not just saltwater fishing holidays Europe can offer, as nearly 4 per cent of the continent is covered by water, with a vast array of beautiful lakes and mighty rivers. From the crystal clear, high oxygenated Atlantic Salmon rivers in Norway to the outstanding super-sized Brown Trout and Char fishing rivers of Iceland, to Europes seventh largest river, the Ebro, for the enormous Wells Catfish. There are unlimited freshwater and saltwater opportunities for the travelling angler.

"For me this was by far the best holiday i ever had with excellent fishing from day 1 personally i landed no less than 7 halibut ranging from small pan size to a PB of 154cm photos already sent to Paul .
The guides were brilliant with expert knowledge and the boats are of top quality.
The accommodation is not 5 star but very comfortable and well mantained and the bonus is the breakfast is included.
Overall an excellent week and i would not change anything."
"Had a brilliant time, the jolly fisherman was very good, food was top notch made to feel welcome the second we walked in.
Sleeping area was as described basic but we knew that before we booked, the showers were fine and worked well.
Guides were a good bunch and we had a good laugh with them, as said food was very good freshly cooked when we got back from fishing.
All staff were friendly and helpful we are looking at booking for next year for sure.
Well done and all praise to Martin and his team.
Also praise for the office team for making it so easy for us all thank you all."
"Well what can i say but a huge thank you for organising our 40th wedding anniversary. The flowers in the Hotel room were a real touch. Gary managed his Marlin i think he said it was around 600lb's which he has assured me is a big one
The hotel staff were very warming and made us feel special. The Island itself is stunning a little steep in places but very picturesque many great restaurants
Our warmest gratitude to all that was involved
Mr and Mrs Taylor"
