There are many benefits of joining a Sportquest guided trip but the most popular is the fact you don’t have to worry about driving a boat or finding the fish. Your guide will take care of both of the above, leaving you to purely concentrate on the excellent fishing on offer.
Having the services of a guide will also mean you get to utilise all their years of experience, ensuring you’re fishing with the correct tackle and methods and also the best areas during the most productive states of the tide. All in all, it means you truly maximise your fishing while on your holiday.
Many fishing holidays are based on 2 or 4 people sharing accommodation, transfers and a fishing boat, so if you drop this amount of people, there will be supplements to pay to have the same package but with fewer people. By joining one of our solo traveller-guided weeks, you do not need to worry about finding anyone to travel with as we put the groups together, meaning you pay your share and are not get hit with any single angler supplements.

As a rule of thumb, the answer is yes. It is always possible to upgrade to have single rooms, but you need to let one of the Sportquest teams know when you book your holiday. There will normally be a supplement to pay, but it usually can be arranged.
Yes, it is possible you can even fill the guided trip up with a group of friends. We do not restrict bookings to just single anglers on solo traveller-guided trips, and it is sometimes possible to increase the size of these trips to accommodate more anglers if needed.
We have anglers from across the globe that travel with Sportquest. Please enquire with the team regarding alternative departure airports at the time of booking as we can book flights from anywhere in the world.
We are fully aware that people prefer to travel from their local airports, so all you need to do is speak to one of our team and request your local airport. We will do whatever we can to offer you your requested airport. There may be some extra cost involved but we will give you options.
