Our range of shore fishing holidays visits an array of exciting destinations all around the globe, giving adventurous anglers the chance to wet a line in some of the most fish-rich waters in the world. From the cold clear waters of the arctic circle to the warm waters of the African continent. All our Lodges and Camps are hand-picked by our team of fishing and travel experts, and our shore fishing trips are renowned for providing travelling rods with the chance to experience a shore fishing trip of a lifetime.
For traditional shore fishing anglers, we have a range of destinations and camps in Norway and Iceland. Here, the fishing is very similar to that of the UK, but with one main difference – their waters are brimming with fish. With a coastline longer than the equator, the angling opportunities in Norway are endless. The shore fishing camps on the Lofoten Islands and those at Skarnsundet and Saltstraumen are among the best and most famous in Europe. The same comments also apply to the regions of Sudavik and Bolungarvik in Iceland.
If you’re an angler who’s looking for something more adventurous and perhaps a warmer clime, then some of our shore fishing trips to Africa offer the ultimate off-the-grid adventure. Gabon, Mozambique, Namibia and South Africa’s Skeleton coast offer travelling rods the chance to battle with some of the hardest fighting specimen fish in the world.
All of our world-class, tailored breaks offer the chance to experience some of the most exciting and explosive shore fishing found anywhere on the planet.
Whatever shore caught specimens are on your bucket list, we can help you tick them off as our trips venture to all corners of the globe. Our shore fishing holidays to the arctic waters of Norway and Iceland provide anglers with the chance to do battle with some monster Cod, Coalfish and Halibut. Casting your baits into the deep fjords, it’s not unusual to battle with 20lb+ Cod, Halibut to over 100lb, if not bigger, plus a whole range of specimen ‘back up’ fish, including ferocious Wolfish and dustbin lid sized Plaice.
If you fancy targeting a selection of more exotic species, then our trips to the African continent target an array of weird and wonderful specimens. If you enjoy lure and popper fishing from the shore, then it’s possible to do battle with monster Jack Crevalle, a range of Trevally species, Snapper and even Tarpon. On the other hand, if you prefer a more static bait and wait approach, then some of the fishing on the Skeleton Coast is tailor-made for you. Every time you cast your bait into the thundering surf, your angling into the unknown, and the next bite could potentially be from a fish exceeding 400lb in weight. Bronze Whaler Sharks, Gully Sharks, Guitar Fish and table top sized Rays are all on the agenda, each and every shore fishing session in this remote part of the world.
Depending on what shore fishing species you want to catch or what bucket list destination you wish to visit to wet a line, our team of fishing and travel experts, with over thirty years of experience, can advise you on the best time to travel. Our fishing Camps and Lodges have numerous peak months and seasons each year, which we can offer, to ensure you enjoy that shore fishing holiday of a lifetime.
"Pure fun, I can say no more. Perfect guide - Ross is a marine biologist! Extremely knowledgeable, perfect sense of humour, always going out of his way to make things work, calm, excellent teacher. The surroundings are astonishing - if the bites slow down a little, your minder drafts away into nature. And then the fish - have a look at the pictures. We'll have to open a fish store back in Belgium here... Can't wait to return. "
"I have just got back from Lofoten islands Norway shore fishing
Ross Johnson our guide was excellent in his knowledge of the marks to fish
The accommodation was great
Travelling there was fine even in these uncertain times
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone
Even the northern lights gave us a show
A trip to remember
Thanks"
"The weather started out wet and windy. But as the days went on it brightened up.The fishing was hard .But we managed to get some nice fish. The biggest fish was a Halibut of 35lb with 2 others over 20lb.For me my fish were Halibut 7-8lb and 4lb 4oz .A plaice
Of 4lb 13oz and a pollack 3lb 8oz.Ross our guide was out standing. He took us to different marks each day.Only one day did we blank .Out of 7 anglers only one fish was caught a cod of 6-7lb. ANY angler who has trouble getting around .Tell Ross and he will put you on an easy mark. There are loads off deep water marks aswell as piers and jetties."
