Hosted Bristol Bay Lodge | Salmon Fly Fishing | Alaska

Tour code: ALL024

If you would like the full Alaska experience, seeing many different rivers and catching many species in one day, this is definitely the trip for you! There are many choices on any given day. For example, the lower river is full of fresh silvers while the upper river with large Rainbows, or there are spots on the river riddled with Char alongside many other species.

We have carefully selected a top week which will place you right in the middle of the Salmon. Each day the fishing is scheduled the evening before and the destination board is posted showing you the pilot, guides, destination, species available, time of departure and your fishing companions for the day. This then gives you plenty of time with our host the evening before to prepare your tackle according to the area you will be heading to and the species you will be encountering. This is where the hosts experience really does pay off; making sure you are well planned for the day ahead which means more fish.

If you have any questions on the fishing trips we offer then contact us in the office, our experienced team will be happy to help you with any queries you have. Additionally, you can request a free brochure.

Bristol Bay Lodge

Bristol Bay Lodge set on the edge of lake Aleknagik is the perfect destination to fish all the surrounding waters of the Bristol Bay Region. This lodge, which has a real homely feeling, can cater for 26 customers each week through the season. Accommodation is a mixture of rooms in the main lodge with separate cabins that can sleep 2 to 8 customers at a time. Each cabin is different offering its own character, yet all offer scenic views of the Lake. The main lodge houses a completely equipped professional kitchen, dining room, large living room with bar area, a library and a huge fly tying bench laden with everything one needs to tie quality flies suited to the surrounding rivers.

A weeks fishing at Bristol Bay Lodge also includes one night at each of the remote fly out camps called Birch and Rainbo Camps. Each of the camps has a unique charm and distinctly different types of fishing but both are equipped with heated ‘Weatherport’ tents built on stable wooden platforms. With fully framed beds, proper mattresses, high-quality sleeping bags with sheet liners and fleece blankets, high-quality pillows and linens, the nights are cosy, warm and comfortable. The dining tents are spacious and contain all necessities for the preparation of hearty meals. There is also a hot water shower and flush WC facility. Waterproof bags will be provided to guests to use for the week for storage while travelling to our day and overnight excursions.
