We’re on the lookout for a Travel Consultant who knows the fishing world inside and out. You’ll spend your days speaking to like-minded enthusiasts, crafting unforgettable fishing adventures across the globe.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a Travel Consultant role, with a proven track record in delivering outstanding customer service.
- A genuine passion for travel and fishing, with strong knowledge of fishing destinations and disciplines.
- A team player who is target-driven, eager to hit personal goals and contribute to the success of the team.
- Confident using social media to promote offers, generate leads and engage with clients.
- A great communicator with a vibrant personality who thrives on building long-term customer relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Creating and selling once-in-a-lifetime fishing holidays tailored to each customer’s needs from first enquiry to returning home.
- Offering expert advice and building trust with clients, guiding them to experiences they’ll never forget.
- Using your destination knowledge and instincts to recommend incredible trips (even if the customer doesn’t know about them yet!).
- Nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Working towards monthly sales targets and enjoying the bonuses that come with success!

Shooting & Hunting Destination Manager
Due to continued growth and the expansion of the business, Sportquest Holidays is recruiting a Shooting Destination Manager for its office in Norwich, Norfolk.
Sportquest Holidays is a dynamic working environment that inspires a passion for high-quality customer service and offers each customer a bespoke worldwide adventure.
The role demands excellent phone communication skills, product knowledge, organisational skills, confidence, the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, and the ability to work effectively in a team. It is an in-person, office-based role.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of sales talent and experience, as well as experience in the travel industry and an in-depth knowledge of the shooting industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing pre-trip information
- Develop itineraries for shooting and hunting holidays, tailoring experiences to meet individual guests’ or groups’ needs and preferences.
- Dealing with enquiries via phone, email and social media
- Capture and record required client information.
- To ensure the company’s values are consistently demonstrated.
- Proactively looking for new suppliers or lodges to work with to expand our ever-growing portfolio.
- creating and maintaining relationships with both customers and suppliers
Skills and Experience
- Experience of working within the travel industry
- Experience and knowledge within the shooting/hunting industry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong proven sales experience
- Strong computer skills
- An organised & disciplined attitude towards managing workload
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- A keen eye for detail and ability to multi-task.
- Highly organised.
- Resilience to deal with complex queries in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.
- A passion for travel.
- Confident with a positive attitude

It is a company that currently specialises in Fishing and shooting holidays all over the world. However, with its development plans there will be expansion into other sporting holidays, Giving the successful applicants the opportunity to grow with the company and further their career.
The Travel Sales Executive role demands excellent communication skills, product knowledge, organisational skills, confidence, the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, and the ability to work effectively in a team. It is an in-person, office-based role.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of sales talent and experience, However, we will also consider anyone looking to enter into travel sales who can demonstrate a passion for this role.
Experience in travel, fishing and/or shooting is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.

- Maintain rapport with potential and existing clients by managing customer database for returning customers and customer feedback forms.
