Another week has come to an end at the water of El Pescador. This was yet again an amazing week on the water with a whopping five grand slams being completed! Ill hand you over to Capt. Gordy for his words from the week. –
17th to 24th April 2021
Fishing was excellent again this week. Our Permit purple patch continues with no less than 37 fish landed! Permit are all over the flats at the moment. 32 Tarpon were also landed, and five grand slams were recorded. Gordon had a triple grand slam fishing with Capt. Cesar! Colbert had a slam with Capt. Vincent, and David had a slam with Capt. Jeo. Another fantastic week!
What Guests Were Catching
Bonefish
Good numbers of bones were caught. Most were in the 2-5 Lbs range, with one fish of 5 Lbs.
Permit
37 Permit were caught between 5 – 20 Lbs.
Tarpon
32 Tarpon were taken. They ranged between 5 and 70 lbs.
Other species
A few Snappers were caught and Barracuda were also around. Several big Jacks were caught.
Grand slams
Five Grand Slams were recorded!
