Even tho the waters surrounding El Pescador forced anglers off the main flats, the local small sheltered mangroves still held some great fish.

It was a great week even with some weather forcing us to find other ways than fishing to spend our time, which was super easy here! Many first time Permit and Tarpon were caught.
What Guests Were Catching
Bonefish
More than 200 bones were landed for the week, and most were in the 2-4 pound range.
Permit
13 Permit were landed.
Tarpon
10 Tarpon were landed. The largest fish was about 50 pounds.
Other species
Anglers landed some Jacks, Snapper, as well as big Barracuda to round out the week.
Grand slams
No slams this week.
