In week 3 of the Piraruca Lodge fishing season, the guests were treated to a week of beautiful sunny days which resulted in some fantastic Arapaima on the fly being landed with a total of 22 fish.

Fishing Conditions:
The water is dropping and the main lakes are full of colossal sized fish.
The highlight of the week was our good friend Jako Lucas landing a 232 cm fish, congrats Captain Jack! The number of huge fish this week was unbelievable! Our guest Helmut also gave a free master class on fly casting, and we all gained some new knowledge!
