The Atlantic Salmon fishing season in Norway is now underway, and below are the catch report stats for week 22 of the year at some of the key rivers and lodges we offer. We have already seen some good numbers and excellent average sizes of fish and have our fingers crossed for a bumper year.

THE GAULA RIVER
Total number of recorded fish so far this year: 57
Total number of Salmon landed in week 22: 66
Biggest fish of the season so far: 12.7kg (Horgøien)
The average size of the fish in week 22: 7.4kg
So far this season, the biggest Salmon landed from the Gaula has included one fish of over 12kg and one of 6.4kg
WINSNES LODGE

Total number of Salmon landed in week 22: 2
Biggest fish of the season so far: 12.7kg

Biggest Salmon of the season so far: 20kg (Krukårn)
The average size of the Salmon in week 22: 6.4kg
So far this season, the biggest Salmon landed from the Namsen has included one fish of 18kg, one over 15kg, three over 14kg
