FISHING CONDITIONS:

One of the most special moments in fishing, and more specifically guiding, is teaching kids how to fish. We had a great week with two families with kids, and Mother Nature rewarded Sophia, who is ten years old, with a catfish bigger than her! Congrats, Sofia! You out fished your Dad by quite a bit as well. Also, our good friend Grayson caught a nice payara and many of the other species we target here, so he now has lots of new checks off his bucket list.

It was awesome to fish with you guys, we are looking forward to seeing you next year.

Highlight of the week was the huge jaguar sighting on the way back to the village. It was a huge cat that came to say goodbye to our guests. Our legendary jungle guide Guilherme got some really amazing photographs of another jaguar.

Total number of fish landed this week:227
Biggest fish landed this week:

Wolf Fish 84 cm

Peacock Bass 64 cm

Mantrinxã 45 cm

Pacu Borracha 43 cm

Bicuda 80cm

Pirara (bigger than Sofia!)
