The Atlantic Salmon fishing season in Norway is well underway, and below are the catch report stats for some of the key rivers and some of the lodges and rivers we offer for week 25. We have already seen some good numbers and excellent average sizes and have our fingers crossed for a bumper year.

The Gaula River
Total number of recorded fish so far this year: 1237
Total number of Salmon landed in week 25: 397
Biggest fish of the season so far: 22kg (Horgøien)
The average size of the fish in week 25: 6.7kg
So far this season on the Gaula, one fish of over 22kg landed, one of 18.5kg, two over 17kg and 16kg and four over 15kg.
Winsnes Lodge
Total number of recorded fish so far this year: 18
Total number of Salmon landed in week 25: 13
Biggest fish of the season so far: 10kg
The average size of the fish in week 25: 7.5kg

The Namsen River
Total number of recorded fish so far this year: 1268
Total number of Salmon landed in week 25: 368
Biggest fish of the season so far: 20kg (Krukårn)
The average size of the fish in week 25: 4.7kg
So far this season on the Namsen, one fish of over 20kg landed, three over 19kg, four over 18kg and three over 16kg.
Namsentunet Lodge
