Returning friends and seasoned anglers made the most of every opportunity, with multiple fish over 20 lbs and a remarkable number of 21 peacocks exceeding 80 cm. Each day brought moments of power, challenge, and celebration — the essence of what defines fishing on the Marié.

Charles: Arriving in the Amazon with one clear goal — big fish — Charles proved he was in the right place. On the very first day, he landed three remarkable fish, including a 21 lb trophy, setting the tone for his week of relentless pursuit.
Dico: A true veteran of the Marié, Dico wasted no time. On his first morning, he landed an 88 cm, 20 lb peacock bass, then added two more 20-pounders and several other impressive catches throughout the week — a masterclass in consistency and skill.
Matt Harris: No stranger to these waters, Matt joined CEO Rodrigo Salles and Rafael for a day that would become one for the books. Together they landed ten big fish, capped by Matt’s 90 cm – 23.5 lb giant — the 11th fish over 90 cm of the 2025 season and Matt Harris’ largest peacock bass to date. A fitting moment for an angler who has shared Marié’s story with the world for nearly a decade.
