This week presented some interesting weather, with tough days characterized by dark clouds and rain. However, the end of the week improved significantly with low winds and no rain. Overall, fishing remained good.






Despite the rain, many tarpon were still present, offering anglers numerous shots. Several were jumped, and a few were successfully landed. There were also many opportunities to catch Permit, though they were not very active in feeding. Additionally, some snook were landed, and a good number of bonefish were caught.
To round out the week, anglers caught various species like Snapper, Jacks, and Barracudas.
Grandslam – No Grandslam were landed this past week
Bonefish – 185 Bonefish were landed
Permit – 3 Permits were landed
Tarpon – 16 Tarpon were landed.
Other Species – 4 Snook were landed
Bonefish Flies – Christmas Island Specials in gold, pearl, and pink sizes 4 & 6, and Crazy Charlies in pink and orange.
Permit Flies – Mantis shrimp, rag head crabs, and Flexo crabs
