Rio Marie Fishing Report 25th November 2025

A mixed group from the United States and Russia met the Marié at a perfect moment. Stable conditions unlocked productive lagoons and structures, and trophy-class peacock bass showed consistently from the first day to the last.

As the river began to tick upward late in the week, the pace never truly slowed. Multiple fish over 20 lbs and a strong run of high-80s captures turned each session into a focused, high-reward hunt that defined the experience for everyone on board.

WEATHER CONDITION

Mostly sunny days through the week, with average water temperatures around 29°C (84°F).

RIVER CONDITIONS

Levels were ideal for most of the week and began to rise toward the end.

UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT

Daniel
Experienced with peacock bass but new to the Marié’s power, Daniel opened his week on the fly rod with a decisive take and a relentless fight, bringing a 22 lb trophy to hand — a benchmark far beyond anything he had seen elsewhere.

Galina
Remarkable consistency set the tone for Galina’s week. She found quality fish day after day and finished with the largest of the group, a commanding 23 lb trophy that crowned an outstanding performance.

Pavel
Pavel’s first fish of the trip made an immediate statement. A crushing eat on the fly led to a heavy, controlled battle and a clean finish at the net — a pristine 20 lb peacock bass to start his Marié adventure.

With a slight rise in water at the tail end of the week, we expect shifting windows and precise timing to matter even more. The Marié remains poised to deliver technical shots, powerful takes, and the kind of moments anglers travel across the world to find.
