This week down at El Pescador was plagued with bad weather which caused fishing to be more difficult than usual, but the waters still produced some fantastic fish for the travelling anglers.

Despite a mix of some rain and cloudy skies that made seeing fish challenging, our anglers had a good week.
What Guests Were Catching
Bonefish
About 250 bones were landed for the week; most were in the 2-4 pound range.
Permit
Six Permit landed.
Tarpon
22 Tarpon landed.
Other species
Seven Snook landed.
Grand slams
None this week.
Flies That Worked
Bonefish: Christmas Island Specials in gold, pearl and pink sizes 4 & 6, and Crazy Charlies in pink and orange.
Permit: Mantis shrimp, rag head crabs and Flexo crabs.
Tarpon: White bunnies, chartreuse and black-purple toads.
