This week on the water did not have the best conditions out on the water, however, this didn’t stop these guests from getting on the bank and managing some amazing fish.
King Salmon Have Started To Move In
The first couple of weeks, the Kanektok River was higher than “usual.” With the cold weather and low water temperatures, and the fish seemed “hesitant” to arrive. With that, there were a few fish who braved the colder water and decided to press on, and our week 4 guests were there to welcome them.
Week 4 showed signs of King Salmon moving up. Our week 4 guests, Karen N. and Pete N., both stuck good size, King Salmon, on the swing. Karen, though, worked up the fish of the season so far with a huge, dime bright King Salmon. Strong work Karen.
Tight lines!
