Rio Marie Fishing Report 10th November 2025

Another unforgettable week unfolded on the Marié, marked by incredible catches and deeply meaningful moments. With 11 fish over 20 lbs and three giants surpassing 90 cm, the river once again proved why it stands as the world’s true capital of trophy peacock bass.

From powerful battles to personal milestones, this was a week that captured everything the Marié represents — precision, persistence, and the emotional connection that makes every trip unique.

WEATHER CONDITION

Mostly sunny days throughout the week, with average water temperatures around 28°C (82°F).

RIVER CONDITIONS

Water levels dropped quickly, creating ideal opportunities for big fish across the system.

UNFORGETTABLE MOMENT

Adam: A renowned tarpon guide from Islamorada, Adam came with one promise to himself — no fish would take him into the backing. The Marié had other plans. Moments after hooking his fish, the reel screamed as the line tore deep into the backing. He may have lost the personal challenge, but he won something far greater: a 90 cm giant, a fish that redefined his respect for Amazonian power.

Michael: Known among friends as Braddock, Michael returned for his third season on the Marié in search of a new personal best. After landing multiple 20 lb fish in past years, he finally tied the biggest fish of the 2025 season — a 92 cm, 26 lb monster, a perfect example of what keeps anglers coming back to the River of Giants.

Austin: Two years ago, Austin planned this trip with his father, who sadly passed away just months before. Determined to honour him, Austin joined his father’s closest friends to make the journey they had dreamed of. In the final hour of the final day, destiny delivered — a 91 cm, 24 lb peacock bass, landed with his father’s photo in hand. A moment of connection, strength, and tribute that will stay with everyone who witnessed it.

LOOKING AHEAD

As water levels continue to drop, the Marié enters a prime phase of the season. The consistency of big fish, record-size catches, and meaningful experiences reaffirms what makes this river unlike any other — a place where both achievement and emotion run deep.
