Highlights of the Week:

Paulo – A Lesson in Persistence
For Paulo, the week began with heartbreak—a massive fish lost right at the boat. But instead of letting the moment define his trip, he doubled down on his focus and determination. His persistence paid off when another big fish took his fly. After a fierce fight, Paulo landed his prize, a well-earned victory that reflected his grit and resilience.
Paolo – The Popper Strike of a Lifetime
High waters didn’t deter Paolo’s spirit. Guided to cast his popper on a submerged ledge, he watched in awe as the jungle exploded with a thunderous strike. A massive Peacock Bass inhaled his fly, and the fight was on. With skill and composure, Paolo battled the fish through an intense struggle, eventually netting a stunning trophy. Catching a Peacock Bass on a popper is always special, but doing so under such tough conditions elevated the moment to a new level.

Starting the year on the Rio Marié is more than just a fishing trip—it’s a celebration of the Amazon’s wild beauty, the thrill of the chase, and the stories that last a lifetime.
