A sudden explosion on the surface signaled the moment he had been waiting for—a massive temensis breaking cover.
With calm precision, Henrique battled the beast, feeling the full weight of the legendary peacock bass at the end of his line. After an intense struggle, the prize was his: a breathtaking 84 cm (33 in) peacock bass, both his personal record and the trophy of the week.
