Highlights of the week:
Gabriel, an avid angler from Argentina, embarked on a fishing adventure to Rio Marié in the Amazon rainforest. Despite elusive catches, his persistence paid off on the morning of the last day. The 90cm-long peacock bass put up a fierce fight, taking all the fly line and another 20 meters of backing. With skill and determination, Gabriel reeled in the monstrous catch. This ultimate triumph became a vivid memory of perseverance for the Argentine angler and a testament to the giant fish that inhabit the Marié River’s waters.
