As week 9 comes to a close, the anglers at the lodge, despite the challenging weather, all managed to get themselves stuck into some Dorado!
Secure Lodge week 9
This week Sécure received five American guests, including couple Rose and Terry, who first visited us in 2019. Weather conditions made for a tough week; we had heavy rain in the beginning, making the river high and muddy. The final two ways of the week the water cleared and dropped, but temperatures remained below normal for the entire week.
Despite the challenging weather, all anglers had chances at Dorado of various size, as well as Pacú, which surprised us as these fish are more sensitive to temperature variations. The biggest fish of the week was a 15-lb. Dorado caught by Gabriel as he was fishing structure on the lower section.
