At Worlds End Lodge, our exclusive Sea Trout fishing destination in Patagonia, Argentina, we’re privileged to work with some of the best guides and lodge staff in South America. Many of whom have been fishing the fabled waters in this land for many, many years and many of whom I’m lucky enough to call my friends. (I have been visiting, hosting and fishing at World’s End for well over a decade now.)

Pablo Lopez – Lodge Owner
Pablo is the owner at World’s End Lodge and is someone I’ve known and worked with for many, many years. As well as being the lodge owner and the guy making many of the decisions, he is also a great angler and used to guide regularly on the river. It is Pablo’s passion that ensures each year the amenities improve, reinvesting in the project so we can continue to offer anglers all over the world this small window of Sea Trout paradise.
Exequiel Bustos – Head Guide
Exequiel, or ‘Exe’ as he’s also known, is the head guide at World’s End and was promoted to the position in 2024. He has been fishing the Irigoyen and other Argentinian Sea Trout rivers for most of his life, and he knows the waters like the back of his hand. He has guided hundreds of anglers to their first and fiftieth Sea Trout, breaking many a PB along the way.
Rodrigo Amadeo – Guide
Rodrigo, also known as the ‘Old Dog Of The River’ (he won’t mind me calling him that!), is the longest-standing guide at the lodge and has been there for many years. What he doesn’t know about Sea Trout fishing in this magnificent part of the world isn’t worth knowing. If you’ve travelled with us to Worlds End Lodge, you’ve probably been lucky enough to have been guided by him.
Santiago Dall’Acqua – Guide
Santiago, or ‘Santi’ as he’s mostly known, is the new kid on the block and a very good friend of mine, someone I’ve known and fished with numerous times across South America. He’s someone I recommended to the lodge for his fantastic knowledge of Sea Trout fishing and his excellent skill set in looking after and guiding our customers. This is his first season at the lodge, but I’m sure it will be the first of many as he is quick to learn the river.
