What amazing news! As countries around the world start to open up, we are over the moon to see that Norway already has its first group of guests from Lithuania using their Covid-19 Passes!
Start-up Havøysund 2021
We are finally up and running in Havøysund, and not only that, we have also welcomed our first foreign guests who have entered their approved Covid-19 Pass! A milestone for us, and we finally see an end to all these travel restrictions when we can start travelling safely again. Our first guests come from Lithuania, where they got their Covid certificate EU-approved, and they tell us that the entry went incredibly smoothly and without any problems. As more people are fully vaccinated, and countries are approved with their Covid certificate, we will now be able to return to what we love, ie. to tailor fantastic fishing trips to all our customers!
Our guides Ulf and Andreas Hugsén, who are on-site in Havøysund, welcomed our first guests and have also been out and guided them to go through both technology and location selection on the GPS systems. The guests previously did not have much experience around the area or sea fishing, but they have landed nine nice Halibut with a top of 130cm despite this. Even now, several of them can be proud of new personal records! They also say that they hooked up with a real monster that they fought with for 40 minutes before it came off. A fishing story they will never forget! They also directed the fishing for Wolffish and managed to land several with the largest at about 6kg! They have also caught a lot of nice food Cod not far from the camp. The guests are already incredibly happy with everything and they still have two fishing days left, so who knows what will happen here next!
Now we finally feel that we are almost up and running again! Until then, we can only urge all our guests to try to get their vaccine as soon as possible and of course follow the health authorities’ advice to reduce the spread of infection so we can all start travelling again soon!
Despite the fact that we are very fully booked right now, opportunities can be opened up if groups can not complete their trip as planned. We update the booking mode on our website continuously and will also come out with more information about the entry requirements as soon as we have new confirmed information.
