Our Andaman Islands trips for solo travellers have always been a hit, allowing fishing enthusiasts to experience some of the world’s finest bluewater popper and jig fishing. The initial group of anglers from our fully-booked spring trips this year have recently arrived back, and it’s an understatement to say that they had an amazing week.
Our WhatsApp group was alive with activity with head guide, Akshay, sharing a huge array of fishing photos with us, showcasing our groups catches of Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, Dogtooth Tuna, and other bluewater species. Their main methods have been using poppers and jigs to land these impressive catches. One catch in particular which we would like to congratulate is Paul, who has managed to land a truly spectacular fish while out on the water in the form of a 41kg (90lbs) Giant Trevally!
