Fishing Starts To Heat Up in Fall – Palmas de Cortez Fishing Report – 8th October 2021

As we slowly creep towards one of the best times of the year for fishing at Palmas De Cortez, things are already starting to heat up, with anglers managing to secure a huge variety of species off the boat.

Palmas de Cortez – 8th October 2021

Hola Amigos,

As we head into the popular fall season, the fishing is starting to heat up once again.  In the last couple of week we have seen a great variety of species in the East Cape including Marlin, Sailfish, Roosters, Dorado, Tuna, Pargo, Jacks and more.  The fishing has been up and down with some days being absolutely fabulous and others have been a little slow.

The good news has been that there are so many varieties of species, that if you don’t get to fish-specific, you have a great chance to be hooked up all day.  The water temps have been in the mid 80’s with air temps in the low to mid 90’s in the afternoon.

Here are a few of the pictures from that past two weeks from down here in the beautiful East Cape!
