The first few days of fishing were quite challenging for the guests due to the strong winds blowing out on the north side. Despite the unfavourable conditions, the guests caught some fish in the nearby areas and bays outside the current. The guide boat successfully caught some Plaice, with the largest measuring 50 cm and a few others around 40-45 cm.
However, things turned for the better towards the end of the week when the winds died down, and the fishing improved significantly. The guides, Calle and Kristian, went further and found an excellent fishing spot where they caught some cod and halibut. The largest cod weighed 15 kg, and they also caught three halibut, one of which was below the minimum measurement allowed to swim back.
Meanwhile, the guide boat that Calle drove that day caught some nice cod, with several cod between 8-12 kg and a bunch of coalfish around 10 kg. At the last place of the week, one of the guests caught a nice Pollack that ended the week on a high note.
The weather forecast for the coming week looks promising, and we hope to have another great week of fishing.
Best regards, Calle, Kristian & Gustav
